Five tips for practising at home

  1. Little and often: ten minutes most days beats an hour once a week.

  2. Same time, same place, so it becomes a habit.

  3. Warm up with something you already know.

  4. Work on the tricky bit slowly, then speed up.

  5. Finish by playing for someone at home.
